Politics is dialogue, beyond doubt. Not always as supple as we would like, but it still is an exchange, a give and take. And if we are to believe Aristotle, we are political animals. A while after Locke brought in the idea of human as self aware animals.
That is why I like the idea of politics as reflexion, or reflection. Because it is indeed in the mirror where we recognize ourselves, and our political choices. Because I like to remember that in the political arena is where we throw our own reflexions, that reflect in the ones of others.
